Addison first week of school

What a rollercoaster of emotions the first week has been.  Mostly happiness and excitement, but it's been difficult as a mother to turn over my baby to basically strangers from 8:30-3:30 every day.  The good news is she has come home every day excited to go back and this morning she actually cried because she was upset we weren't leaving to go to Kindergarten (today is Sat.)!  She's met lots of news friends and had lots of fun playing on the playground (we know this because if you ask her anything about her day, she speaks of recess 92% of the time)!  LOL  Here's a few pictures we caught of her on the first day...and a few morning pictures of a couple of days to follow!  

I'm so happy to have this picture!!! :)  It makes my heart smile!!!

 And then this one is the real Addison....  LOL!  She plays well for Mommy...but likes to do her own thing... which I'll go with! LOL

These  are from day two of Addison's Kindergarten.  Aiden and I went to walmart directly after for groceries so we got dressed too....

Day 3- Wednesday.  We came straight home so Aiden stayed in his PJs!!!! :)

Addison is going to Kindergarten

Oh No!  It's time.  It's been a perfect 5.5 years of having her home but alas the time has come to let her grow up and move on towards her future!  She's so excited...and so happy that it's time for her to go to school.  I'm excited that she gets to have some really fun times and gets to learn and grow and enjoy times with friends, but I do somewhat feel like I'm loosing her! :(   She is pretty amazing though... and smart... and kind hearted... and sympathetic... and empathetic, and I look at her and I know that she will thrive in this life of hers.  I really could go on and on about how proud I am of the person Addison has become.  I'm overwhelmed and so thankful to God!

Addison is lucky lucky because she's in class with a bunch of friends from church and her preschool. Here she is with Grace.  She's so happy!!! :)

Buzz lightyear

Gotta do a post about Aiden.  Goodness gracious he's 2 yrs 10 months old now and he's the sweetest, cutest little boy ever in the world!  He's my baby and oh my he's rotten.  Not too bad, but it becomes more apparent everyday, I think! lol  Aiden's got a very soft heart, he is very very stubborn, but he's got the most precious personality and he brings SO much joy to our lives!  :)  Here's a few favorites from recently including his newest obsession, Buzz lightyear.  It will be a preview of Halloween, but he's always playing Buzz/Woody!  :)  I mean ALWAYS!

Addison could not be happier.  She has to wear glasses and is so happy about it.    We searched all around town for the perfect pair and let me tell you we found the PERFECT pair that just scream Addison!!  We had to go for a photo shoot with them and we got some really great shots.

Wow.. it's been so long.  I don't even know how long!  I keep thinking I will go back in time and blog the past 6 months before I can start up with my blogging again.  I'm afraid if I keep up with that thinking though, I may not ever blog again, and I'd hate for that to be the case, so.... here we go.  A big break since last post... but maybe eventually I'll go back in time! :)  It's HOT!  oh my heavens... IT's HOT!!!  It's day 18 of triple digit heat in Montgomery so if we want to get outside and let out some of our energy, we must be getting wet.  The trampoline the kids got for Christmas hasn't seen much action since it's too hot to do anything.  But we changed that today!  Look how much fun this looks like!  I wish I was little again when I see the kids do this! :)

Swimming with the Nichols

We finally got together with the Nichols to swim this summer and we all had a blast.  Mason, April, Ally and Makena are our closest friends and we completely adore them all.  What a blast we had and I can't wait until our next get together soon... well...maybe soon.  :)  Love ya'll! :)

Our Summer Vacation 2011- Pensacola FL

We were long overdue for a family vacation.  I guess we finally just now feel like all parties involved are old enough to have a good time and that we can financially afford it.  We had a wonderful time and were so happy to spend uninterrupted time just playing, swimming, and having a good time! :)  We went to Holiday Inn Resort in Pensacola.  They had an amazing lazy river right by the beautiful white sand beach!    We basically went from the sand to the pool each day!  Fun Fun!
