Jon and I, MaryAnn, met in Sociology class in the AB 1 building at Sam Houston State University in Jan. 2000. We will never forget that class for many reasons, but that's where it all began. On July 27, 2002 we were married and we were blessed a few years later on Dec. 15, 2005 with our first born, Addison Stayton Hill and then were blessed with our son, Aiden Steib Hill on November 25, .We are both teachers although I'm temporarily retired to stay home and raise Addison and Aiden. We have the perfect little family of 4 and are blessed by God beyond belief!!!

Ice Skating at the Galleria

Uncle Kevin called a few weeks ago and told me he would be coming into town. I was to pick him up but I couldn't tell anyone he was coming...It was a big surprise for Jon and Debi and Gene. I'm a terrible liar so it wasn't easy, but I kept the secret and everyone was sooooo surprised. It was such a great weekend. On Saturday, Jon, Kevin, Debi, Addison, and I went to the galleria looking for FAO Schwartz. Apparently they aren't located there anymore but we had a great time at the Galleria walking around. Addison saw the ice rink and decided she HAD to do it. Jon was obviously the only one that would be able to skate with her and he had only skated once in his life. Luckily he's very good at things like that and was able to keep Addison upright and himself upright too. Amazing. I was a nervous wreck. Align CenterThey both did fall and Addison fell apart after that, but they skated 2 loops around before that ever happened. I was surprised and proud of both of them. It was a great day.

Outside the ice rink in line!

Addison is soooooooo excited about skating. She was bound and determined to do it. I hope she keeps that trait as she gets older.

Addison decided the line was taking too long so she thought she might need to beg a little. She was so serious!

Addison and Daddy stop on the real floor to pose for a picture. Addison is a little too intrigued by her skates to look at me.

And they are off...I'm just sitting on the sides saying "Please don't fall" "Please don't break anything"

So they hung out on the wall a lot...They made it around...Twice!

OMG! How come I did not hear about this. Awesome, Daddy. That is way too cool! I'm with you Mare, I would have been nervous, too. What a great memory.
