Jon and I, MaryAnn, met in Sociology class in the AB 1 building at Sam Houston State University in Jan. 2000. We will never forget that class for many reasons, but that's where it all began. On July 27, 2002 we were married and we were blessed a few years later on Dec. 15, 2005 with our first born, Addison Stayton Hill and then were blessed with our son, Aiden Steib Hill on November 25, .We are both teachers although I'm temporarily retired to stay home and raise Addison and Aiden. We have the perfect little family of 4 and are blessed by God beyond belief!!!

Halloween 08

Addison always had a choice of what she wanted to be for Halloween...a doctor or a princess. Tuesday was dress-up day at school so she wore her Doctor's outfit because all she wanted to be for a month...or more for Halloween was a doctor. She probably had no clue what that meant...but she was sure! The day of Halloween I had a doctor's appointment (one of my many). Everyone asked her what she was going to go trick-or-treating as, and in the doctor's office I was going to be so proud for her to say...a doctor ( which is what she has said a million times before) and she very shyly answers "A princess". I was like....WHAT? So, from that moment a doctor would not do....only a princess. So, we got it down and it obviously was not too difficult. She was a precious princess and had a ball trick-or-treating. She was a little concerned at first about walking up to other people's doorways but once she got the hang of it we couldn't hold her back. She didn't care where we were, she was headed to the next door.

Here we are just getting started. We stayed with Grammy and Grampy because our neighborhood is just too crazy for us to trick-or-treat in.

Grammy and the neighbor leading Addison up their driveway to the candy. They go ALL out for Halloween and Addison was more than a little scared at all their ghosts and goblins and men that take their face off.

Look at that face. I was scared to baby girl. Poor thing! No wonder she didn't go to sleep until Midnight!

But then we saw some friendlier faces with candy and Addison warmed up quickly.

Mama and my butcher job hair cut with Addison. This was after about an hour of trick-or-treating or more so we were worn out!

Addison going to one more house before going back to Grammy's!

And then the inventory. She had to scope it all out. I wasn't paying any attention to her and she had opened all of the suckers and licked on them once or twice. The excitement of having so many at her fingertips
was overwhelming!

And with candy in her mouth she posed. What a great night we had. I'm sure next year will be even more exciting!!!!
