Jon and I, MaryAnn, met in Sociology class in the AB 1 building at Sam Houston State University in Jan. 2000. We will never forget that class for many reasons, but that's where it all began. On July 27, 2002 we were married and we were blessed a few years later on Dec. 15, 2005 with our first born, Addison Stayton Hill and then were blessed with our son, Aiden Steib Hill on November 25, .We are both teachers although I'm temporarily retired to stay home and raise Addison and Aiden. We have the perfect little family of 4 and are blessed by God beyond belief!!!

Oh Christmas Tree

With the following week full of Thanksgiving Holiday fun I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and put up the Christmas tree. Not to mention I am soooooo excited to see Addison enjoy Christmas this year. She is in awe of everything Christmas and she associates them all together (santa, snowmen, Christmas tree, reindeer, etc) We stopped by Linda and Ron's house today and they already had their tree up so I figured we wouldn't be considered too crazy. Next week we'll basically be busy everyday until Sunday night. We have gymnastics Tuesday and Addison is staying with Grammy until we get there Wed. night. Then Thursday we are having Thanksgiving lunch at Grammy's and everybody will be there. Then we will leave Friday to Lafayette with Debi and Gene and will return Sunday. It will be busy and crazy but I'm looking forward to being with everyone and spending time with Addison's only remaining Great grandparent, Jon's Mamaw. Here are some pictures of Addison's first experience with her very own Christmas tree. ("Addison's Christmas tree", as she calls it).

Addison found a Santa ornament. She was soooooooo excited to see the tree and everything on it. I think she touched everyone of them that were in her reach.

Oh look, another Santa or "Anta" as she calls it.

Dad even put up the Christmas lights on the house. Addison of course had to help.
