Pumpkin Time

We started the pumpkin thing early this year. I bought our pumpkin at our local farmers market. We got it home and were so excited to carve it. It's now rotten and in the trash so it didn't even make it to Halloween, but we sure have had fun getting to look at it for the past month. We thought about doing another but just decided we were pumpkined out for the year. We did however go to a local pumpkin patch to take pictures. I just started potty training Addison last weekend so it's been an adventure going anywhere lately. Luckily Addison loves other peoples pottys. She's doing very well and is on her way to being completely trained. No diapers is such a beautiful thing!!!

Addison just loved being able to scoop out the seeds of the pumpkin. She thought she was really doing some cooking. Of course, Addison loves to do anything she sees Momma doing. She likes to feel like a big girl.

Then she thought it would be fun to just play in the seeds and rub them all over her legs like soap. It was definitely bath time after we carved the pumpkin.

Addison at the pumpkin patch at a local church. Mom, Dad, Addison, and Nana went to see the pumpkins. We had a really fun time. Thank goodness for no potty accidents!! Day 9 of Potty training. Look how big she is with no diapers!!!



And finally we found a smile. She climbed up on that chair like it was potty. I finally got a smile when I told her to say Birthday Cake!! What can I say, the girl loves birthday cake. It won't be too long before she has one for herself...again.
