Jon and I, MaryAnn, met in Sociology class in the AB 1 building at Sam Houston State University in Jan. 2000. We will never forget that class for many reasons, but that's where it all began. On July 27, 2002 we were married and we were blessed a few years later on Dec. 15, 2005 with our first born, Addison Stayton Hill and then were blessed with our son, Aiden Steib Hill on November 25, .We are both teachers although I'm temporarily retired to stay home and raise Addison and Aiden. We have the perfect little family of 4 and are blessed by God beyond belief!!!

Addison's performance.

Today Addison's new dance company danced at the local festival.  They had such a great time and I think all enjoyed getting to perform what they have been learning for the last month in class.  Surprisingly, they really danced it well considering they've only practiced it 4 times and Addison was sick for one of the weeks.  :) These are Days 98, 99, 100.  I've been a little behind, but I gave the camera and my models, also known as Addison and Aiden, a couple day break.  You can tell when I do because Addison is very willing to perform for the camera after a short break!!! :)  I've made it 100 days.  One of the hardest things I've ever done, but absolutely one of the most rewarding!!! :)

This dance company requires the girls to wear mascara, blush, and red lipstick.  This was something we are having to just go with the flow with, because neither Jon nor I was crazy about this idea.  We got through it today and actually it was really no big deal.  She enjoyed getting to be made up but really by the time she performed, you couldn't even tell she had it on.  One thing's for sure... she's got LONG eyelashes!!!

Addison and her Daddy!

Addison on the stage dancing.  Looks like  she's pretending to swing a bat, but really she's doing a hand roll on the side to the music... "I like to move it, move it"

Oh sweet Aiden boy watching his big sister perform.  He loves everything she does!!!

After the performance Daddy picked a beautiful sunflower for Addison.  She loved it.

Mommy having fun while the whole family took a nap after the festival....  :)

After the performance we headed to the carnival rides.  I had no idea that a carousel ride would cost $3 and a rollercoaster ride for Addison and I would cost $6.  This is why we don't do these things very often.  Too rich for my blood!!!!  But she enjoyed herself immensely.  It was a fabulous day!!!
