Jon and I, MaryAnn, met in Sociology class in the AB 1 building at Sam Houston State University in Jan. 2000. We will never forget that class for many reasons, but that's where it all began. On July 27, 2002 we were married and we were blessed a few years later on Dec. 15, 2005 with our first born, Addison Stayton Hill and then were blessed with our son, Aiden Steib Hill on November 25, .We are both teachers although I'm temporarily retired to stay home and raise Addison and Aiden. We have the perfect little family of 4 and are blessed by God beyond belief!!!

Children's Museum in Houston

With Mom around we decided to take advantage of a sitter for Aiden and take a day with just Jon, Addison, and me. We started out at the Children's museum and had a lot of fun going to exhibit after exhibit. We played hard for a few hours and then Addison fell asleep as soon as we got into the car. She woke up in the movie theatre parking lot and was so excited to find out we were going to see the new Ice Age movie. We left there and went to Marble Slab to eat ice cream by the lake. It was a perfect day of family time with my precious little girl. She's so good and never complains about having to share Mommy and Daddy's attention with brother. It's nice to give her the lion's share every once in awhile!

My camera's battery was dead (and my charger in Montgomery) so we almost didn't make it. (how can you do something so fun without a camera to document it). Luckily Mom had about 2 bars of battery in hers (with her charger in Canada). Wow! I got to take a couple of pictures before it died. Here's what I got to take.

Addison and Mom in the Newstropolis ( i think that's what it's called.) It was VERY cool and probably Addison's favorite. She just likes seeing herself on tv. Ha

Then you could take an actual picture and email it to yourself. Addison wouldn't look at the camera, she just wanted to look at herself on tv.

Puppet shows were a big deal there. They had a 2 or 3 places for it and Addison and Jon played with the puppets for a long time! They even drew an audience a couple of times!

playing...

Daddy and Addison at the top after realizing we were too big for the Tot spot! Sitting on the cow getting ready to ride the ride (the elevator). That's fun and excitement for us.
