Addison's Dance Recital

We had the greatest day today. It was Addison's big moment to stand up on stage and perform for lots of people. She accepted the task and I'd guess loved every single minute of it. She did better than all the other kids....no really.....and showed that wonderful firecracker personality she has. I couldn't be more proud of her and the job she did.

before the recital started I tried to get Addison to pose for a few pictures. She kind-of cooperated, but was so concerned about playing with her dance friends.

This was Addison's favorite dance friend, Larissa. I took this right before they went on stage for the first dance "Kiss the Girl". This was the ballet dance. I'll add video soon.

Addison waiting to go on.

Look how cute they are. Addison is the last one to the right. At the moment she was fixing her necklace. Yes, that was very important at that moment.

Addison is the one with her back turned. I'm sure she's the one that was doing the right thing...and all the other girls in the picture weren't doing right! :)

Here she's cutting up with her friend Jewell. Then Jewell pushed her and Addison pushed her back...yeah...on camera...but Addison doesn't like to be pushed around...apparently!

this was in the audience waiting for time to dance again.

Ms Cindy placing Addison during the Finale.

Daddy had to get the biggest bouquet of flowers ever. They covered Addison's face mostly but she loves them.

All of the dancers in the Co. at the end of the night. Lots of them had left already, but there were a lot.

It was a night to remember. Again, we couldn't be more proud of the job she did. I'm beginning to think we might have a few years of dance recitals to look forward to.

Oh, Addison looks beautiful. I am so sorry we did not get to be there, but I am glad she loved it, so there will be a NEXT time. I know you are proud, there is something about that moment of your little girl getting up there for the first time! We love you.
