Jon and I, MaryAnn, met in Sociology class in the AB 1 building at Sam Houston State University in Jan. 2000. We will never forget that class for many reasons, but that's where it all began. On July 27, 2002 we were married and we were blessed a few years later on Dec. 15, 2005 with our first born, Addison Stayton Hill and then were blessed with our son, Aiden Steib Hill on November 25, .We are both teachers although I'm temporarily retired to stay home and raise Addison and Aiden. We have the perfect little family of 4 and are blessed by God beyond belief!!!

Carving the Pumpkin

Addison and Daddy decided to carve the pumpkin. Daddy was itching to get his hands on those tools....I think! Uncle Davy came to spend the night with us so he got to join in the fun!! Thanks Davy!

Daddy hard at work. Precision is his middle name!
Uncle Davy and Addison. Addison loves her Uncle Davy! He's always the topic of conversation on Sundays when the Cowboys play. Addison thinks Davy is on the field playing...I think! All Cowboys stars are "like Uncle Davy does"! It's hilarious!

Addison really was more interested in the slide than the pumpkin this year. She wasn't about to touch that nasty pumpkin insides either. She finally made it around to "helping out"!
She likes the finished product though! Great job Daddy!!!

We like to light it at night but of course the best part is when we sing "Happy Birthday" and blow out the candle! It's funny how every candle represents the song!! Whatever makes Addison happy!!! :)

Man, that is one fancy jack-o-lantern. We didn't get to get our's done this year, but next year we are going to have to take tips from the Hill Family.
