At gymnastics one Saturday Addison stepped off of one of the mats wrong and hurt her ankle. We immediately thought that she just sprained it and that she'd forget about it by the end of the day. Jon was in gymnastics with her so they left and went to Grammy's house which is where I was. She immediately fell asleep and was really favoring her ankle. By the time we got home that night she wouldn't even put pressure on it so we figured we should go visit Aunt Melissa and Uncle Jamie at the ER. We did and the x-rays showed no fracture, but we were told that with all of the growth plates in little ones ankles, we needed to go see an orthopedic doctor. Her ankle was splinted by Jamie and Melissa was her doctor! (which she thought was cool) We left it splinted and she walked on it some but complained about it for the next week. She then started compensating by walking with a reverse pigeon toe. Luckily the ortho confirmed that it wasn't broken, it just needed time to fix itself. Now she has a slight limp, but it's 100% better. Poor baby!!!
on the way home from the ER!

at least she's not upset about it.
Silly girl!!!
