Jon and I, MaryAnn, met in Sociology class in the AB 1 building at Sam Houston State University in Jan. 2000. We will never forget that class for many reasons, but that's where it all began. On July 27, 2002 we were married and we were blessed a few years later on Dec. 15, 2005 with our first born, Addison Stayton Hill and then were blessed with our son, Aiden Steib Hill on November 25, .We are both teachers although I'm temporarily retired to stay home and raise Addison and Aiden. We have the perfect little family of 4 and are blessed by God beyond belief!!!

A*D*D*I*S*O*N

With not a whole lot of terribly interesting things going on, we've had a lot of time to play, and work on our letters and our numbers and do some things that have been needing to be done. One of those things that we've accomplished is completing her "big girl room". Before she got her new bed she had a canopy below the "My Prince Did Come His Name is Daddy" sign. When we moved the bed and the canopy it left a big area for her letters. I finally got them on the wall. I must admit, it's my dream room for a little girl.

We've also worked on her camera etiquette. I always say she's not going to be a model, but maybe the photographer. She never wants to smile for a picture, but loves to be behind the camera looking at the baby, Daddy, or Momma, or whoever the camera is pointing at. So, we worked on finding a smile for the camera. I tried lots of things but what always seems to work with Addison is candy. (She comes by that naturally in this family of sweet teeth). I finally put a kissable on the camera and said, "Smile, and I'll give you the candy". She looked at it and smiled and look at this precious picture we've got here.

I must have caught her at a good moment in the bathtub. She's so big now and has such a little personality. I think it's hilarious and wonderful, all her little idiosyncrasies that make her her. It's just amazing how much love you can have for one person. She's a blessing from God and I thank Him for her everyday.
