Jon and I, MaryAnn, met in Sociology class in the AB 1 building at Sam Houston State University in Jan. 2000. We will never forget that class for many reasons, but that's where it all began. On July 27, 2002 we were married and we were blessed a few years later on Dec. 15, 2005 with our first born, Addison Stayton Hill and then were blessed with our son, Aiden Steib Hill on November 25, .We are both teachers although I'm temporarily retired to stay home and raise Addison and Aiden. We have the perfect little family of 4 and are blessed by God beyond belief!!!
9 months ago Addison was 1 year old. This was a huge month. Addison turned 1 on the 15th, Jon graduated with his Master's in Education on the 16th and Christmas was the 25th. Addison had a wonderful birthday party at school on the 15th. This was CISD last day of school so after the kids got out early, I picked up the cake (huge caterpillar). It was the CUTEST cake I had ever seen. We took it to Melissa's so that it would be ready to go for the next day's birthday and graduation festivities. April, Allyson, and Lora came up and thank God they did so they could babysit while I went to the graduation. Everyone then went to Melissa's for the big 1st birthday party. We had lots of people there including 6 grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She walked around the party all night long and got to eat her own segment of cake (not just a piece). She played and opened all of her presents and then went home and stayed up until 11 with Allyson. It was a great celebration to what was an amazing first year and a long road for Jon getting his Master's degree. We then had Jon's birthday and next came Christmas and that was of course many days leading up to the 25th. We had Christmas at Tracy's on the 21st (I think). Then we had Christmas at mom's on the 24th and spent the night and had lunch on the 25th. Then to Debi and Gene's on the 26th to celebrate with them. Addison started running fever that day and ended up with a horrible rash all over her body. Then the 29th we found the culprit for the fever and the rash...she finally got her second tooth. Finally, now she has two bottom teeth. She eats anything anyway....who needs teeth.
