2 months old

Addison is now 2 months old. She's just started day care at the school where I worked. She started sleeping through the night at the beginning of her second month, Thank God, because I was already back to work. I didn't have any idea then how fast 2 months would go by. I know that I held her the entire 2 months. If I put her in her swing and she fell asleep I'd freak out and think she needed to be sleeping in my arms. She smiled at me all the time and basically made our lives wonderful. It was really hard dropping her off everyday when I went back to work. It got somewhat easier because I knew that she was in good hands, but I can tell you that it was one of the hardest things that I ever had to do. It makes me appreciate the present, 19 months later, when I wonder what it would be like to have adult conversations all day. I realize quickly that the grass is not greener on that side, because I mowed it for a long time. Having the opportunity to stay home with Addison now is the most wonderful gift I could have asked for.
