Addison was 7 mo. old 14 months ago. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoors and hanging out with Grammy in the pool. She also decided this month that it was time to get moving. She was tired of sitting and playing, it was time to make herself mobile. After she figured out that she could push herself it didn't take her anytime to figure out that she could go faster if she got her belly off the ground. So, up on her knees she went and she was off. She also started saying her first word, Mama Mama Mama Mama. She wouldn't whisper it either. I remember one day trying to watch Days of Our Lives and not being able to hear it because for a good 5 min. she just yelled Mama, Mama, over and over until I guess she got tired. It wasn't because I wasn't there either. She didn't care what Mama meant, she was just going to say it until she decided to stop. The summer was just about over but we've spent a lot of time having fun. Addison was looking forward to getting back to her friends and I was looking forward to getting back into the routine of school. Jon is blessed with a laid back personality where he just rolls with the punches. You can throw anything at him and not much gets him riled up. He's always ready for what's coming, which is I'm sure why we are so blistfully happy. I get excited about a lot of things...and he calms me down.
